“We had a wonderful time in this A-frame rental. Our hosts were very communicative and helped us out right away when the driveway got icy. We couldn't have asked for better communication from them. The house is also spacious with comfortable beds and very nice kitchen appliances. The house seems new and not-lived in, which is not my preference, but good for many guests. The one thing to look out for is that the picture of the wood stove suggests there is a fireplace, but it is not actually hooked……

“My family and I had a great time staying in Athens. The facilities allow for a host of activities such as getting out on the lake or going for a dip in a heated pool. The lake itself is much bigger than I had anticipated. The layout of the house works well and the basement was a great gathering spot especially on rainy days. Bunk beds were falling apart a bit- screws and pieces were loose- and the water in the house ran reddish brown every day until you ran the faucet for 15 min or so. Owner said it was from well water, which was fine, just not too appealing. We had a great trip overall and would likely rent again!”

“We wanted to spend a few days skiing at Belleayre and the house is conveniently located just a few minutes drive away.
