“We had a fantastic time staying in this old log cabin. There are LOTS of amenities and the property is absolutely beautiful. We cooked using the outdoor kitchen and only used the outdoor shower. The porch is facing the lake and it’s so peaceful just sitting there listening to nature. The host was very nice and the check-in/check-out process was quick and easy. Make sure to go down the slide and jump from the swings into the lake. 10 out of 10 and would definitely recommend. ”

“This home was perfect for our group, four adults and two kids. The no wake cove was great for swimming and fishing. We caught lots of cats and carp off the bank, plenty of brim and a good size large mouth bass. The home was comfortable and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.”

“What a house and perfectly situated on a mild incline to the water. I love staying at the lake, but I hate walking up and down several flights of steps. There were only about 5 or 6 steps to navigate outside of the house. Only thing that wasn’t ideal was the 3 bedrooms upstairs had to share a bathroom with a hallway entrance and bedroom entrance. We solved that problem by locking the hallway door and telling the teenage boys they had had use the downstairs bath. The kitchen is beautiful……

“Great location! No complaints on the place. If you’re looking to rent jet skis plan ahead! They were sold out for a clear 4 days, but most accept walk ins first come first serve at 8:30 am.”

The living areas were very spacious and we especially enjoyed the screened in porch as we sat in rocking chairs and listened to the rain each afternoon. We spent a fair amount of time cooking and found the kitchen to be well stocked. The walking path down to the water was perfect as we had several members in our group that struggle with stairs. “My family enjoyed our stay at Shangrila! The house is well stocked and clean. The beds were very comfortable. It was an added bonus to not have to pay for a slip at a marina for our boat! Just walk out, hop on, and go! ”

“Perfect house for our family of 5 and dog. The deck is shaded perfectly. The dock and cove are safe for relaxing on boards or floats. The 2 kayaks were great to have for exploring the lake. The house itself was cozy without feeling small. Lots of supplies for preparing meals at the house. ”
