“My husband and our dogs spent the week here and it was everything we needed. Just be warned that the house is located at the bottom of a steep hill. The only grass available is at the top of the hill. I would recommend putting your boat in prior to arriving to the home, as backing it down was difficult. “My sisters and enjoyed a long weekend getaway and also hosted my son and daughter in law who traveled from NC. We had a beautiful stay, the views from the balcony were wonderful, saw the deer every morning. Very peaceful and quiet area, about a 15 minute drive to local restaurants. We visited Smith Mountain State park a few times, which is a beautiful park, about a 30 minute drive on the other side of the lake. We also enjoyed swimming right off the dock at the condo! “Came for the view, and didn't disappoint! The house was clean and comfortable. We swam and fished off the dock. The only drawback was lack of some back was the lack of some kitchen equipment.”
