“This property is not what I expected—the old house part of the building is beautiful and the view from the hotel is beautiful too! But the property has added wings that are architectural mismatched and it gives a strange ambiance. There are conditional issues such as stained carpeting in hallways, but rooms are nice and comfortable. Service is a mixed bag—-valet and baggage guys were great…retail shop clerk was super nice….front desk was adequate but not friendly and didn’t try to make you feel……

“Really friendly and helpful staff.
The bed was super comfortable, the shower excellent.
The double glazing really helped dull the sound of the church clock that chimes every 15 minutes, so we couldn't sleep with the windows open, which we would have done usually. Great location.”
