“Reception staff were excellent. Couldn’t have been more attentive and breakfast left at the room door was a welcome surprise. Room was fine for single guest, but maybe add a towel hook and soap dish to the bathroom?”

“The approach to the hotel there are loads of cigarette ends by the door way. Lots of rubbish in the bushes generally untidy. The pub itself externally is 3 different colours and the porchway roof had tiles missing ”

“Stayed here previously and enjoyed the experience and glad to say the quality and service is exactly the same, top notch. Excellent room with great amenities this one even had a whirl spa bath. The menu is great and the food is superbly presented and so delicious and the service is excellent. Thoroughly enjoyed staying and have already booked back in. Nice quiet location lots of safe onsite parking. Promised I would mention the breakfast servers Norma and Terri who do a superb job. ”

“Fantastic hotel, have stayed here many times before and always been impressed. Staff are friendly and professional, food in the restaurant is excellent quality and great value for money. The only slight negative on this trip was that the room was cold, and no matter what I did to try and change the temperature it didn’t get any warmer. Other than that it was a great stay.”

“This is a great guest house and who includes breakfast anymore?? My cousin and I stayed for one night and our room was very warm, cozy, and the owner made us very welcome. He went above and beyond with breakfast the next morning and cooked up custom meals for each of us! I would definitely stay here again since it is in an excellent location, within walking distance to the Largs train station, and who doesn’t love excellent hospitality and service?! Highly recommended”
