“The barn loft was great for us! Very comfortable and well supplied. We stayed here to visit Acadia and the location worked well for us. The owner did such a good job creating this space.Southwest Harbor was a good choice since its near ethe park but quiter than Bar Harbor. I would highly recommend the barn loft!”

“Loved it. Super comfy. Walking distance to town, beautiful view. I would highly recommend. Close to Bar Harbor and Acadia, but had the peaceful beauty out of the bar harbor crowds, which was perfect. Had a dog, and it was perfect for him. Loved the porch. ”

“It was a great spot. It was super clean, and the hosts were very kind. They left me a gift of soap homemade from by the owner. This place certainly made some nice memories. The amenities in the kitchen and all around the apartment were great. The shower was especially beautiful. Just give it a second to get ready.”

“Wonderful stay at the Admiral Quarters. Between the hiking and the 3 floors of stairs our legs definitely got a workout. Great view of Southwest Harbor from back deck. Short walk to sports bar and a great breakfast cafe down the street. 40 min drive to Bar Harbor which we went to twice, but we loved the traditional NE feel of Southwest Harbor. A few great traditional lobster houses close by in SWH and nearby Bass Harbor. Only wish the unit came with a blender and pitcher for iced tea. ……

“The property was as advertised except it didn’t capture the beauty of the overall property. House was clean, well equipped and in a quiet and beautiful setting. Manager was very responsive and enjoyable to work with. Would definitely stay there again”

“Joy is a pleasure to have as a host, this property is located on her family’s homestead, plenty of windows but also plenty of curtains for privacy. WiFi reception was great, there was an extender in the bungalow. You have your own parking space which is in a driveway away from the main road which felt very safe. There are trees on the property causing it to feel secluded from the road and private. The steps to the waterfront were on the other side of the lawn/property and provided for a private……

“We loved this adorable apartment! It was so bright and cheerful. It was very clean and the bed was comfortable. This was perfect place to relax after spending all day in Acadia. The pancake mix, syrup, and coffee was a wonderful treat. There was plenty of parking. The apartment is within walking distance of restaurants and shops. If we ever have the opportunity to visit SW Harbor again, we will definitely stay here. ”
