“This property was an affordable way to have an enjoyable stay near all the sights of Acadia. The ability to do laundry during our trip was a big plus as well as 4 twin beds for 4 adults with room to spread out. Generally we spent time exploring Acadia and Bass Harbor but having the house allowed a day of relaxation and puzzle assembly for some while others spent more time hiking. Owners were fantastic!! Would stay again. ”

“Awesome place for our stay. House is nicely decorated, recently updated, and enjoyable. I love the overall theme! The third bedroom is enclosed on the second floor with a seating area in the loft. We had easy access to Acadia and Southwest Harbor for activities, hiking, and food. Dog friendly and quiet neighborhood. Thanks for offering your house for rental. ”

“The house was very nice -light and very comfortable -beautiful views and nice outdoor space.There was coffee and tea for use- a well equipped kitchen-The house was well taken care of and clean-I left 4 stars for cleanliness because stovetop and oven could have been cleaner and dishwasher was full but all in all a wonderful experience-I would highly recommend ”

“Lovely house with gorgeous views. It is located on the quieter side of the island which we definitely appreciated while still being close enough to Bar Harbor and Acadia. The house was clean and the availability of kayaks was a nice bonus. ”

The kitchen was one of the best equipped rental properties we’ve stayed at. The large common area of living room/dining/kitchen provided plenty of room to hangout. ”

“The cottage was located in a beautiful serine private spot on Bass Harbor. We arrived and the cottage was super clean, kitchen was well stocked with utensils and cookware provided. Cozy layout with a gorgeous porch overlooking the bay. Owner was great in communication and we could not have dreamed of a better place. Looking forward to return next year!”

“The first floor has been remodeled and has up-to-date appliances. The second floor has spacious bedrooms. The bathroom is a little small.We enjoyed having the indoor pool and fire pit.The owner was quick to respond to emails.”

“Everything was seamless about checking-in and out. Everything you could possibly think of is available for your use. You literally just need food and clothing. I wish there was AC, but my partner liked it warm. It did cool down late at night and there was a window fan to help. The owner put in a lot of thought in creating a peaceful stay. It was close enough to town to the local restaurants and activities. ”
