“Heavily misrepresented surrounded on three sides by construction equipments and various piles of refuse. Shed is divided in two, with construction porta potty as only restroom. Shower set up is illegally with dirty shower water going directly onto the forest floor, an environmental hazard. Entire area was dirty and porta potty was full. Was forced to find a different room last minute because the host was completely non responsive to multiple Messages and attempts to reach them. Only plus is that……

“We had a wonderful stay at the Poet's cabin. It is a nice little place for visiting the Acadia National Park area. It also has a very good sitting area outside and the hosts are very helpful and welcoming! The only issue is that the door opening to the bathroom is very low (I'm 6'2 and hit my head multiple times on the top of the door frame), and the shower is very small. The home is exactly as advertised and a great place to stay, but wanted any other "taller" people to be aware before booking.”

“The Homestead cabin is a true gem! We felt instantly relaxed and at home, nestled in the peaceful woods with stunning ocean views just a short walk away. The mossy trails were enchanting, and watching the two Daisys play on the beach was a highlight. Thank you, David and Carolyn, for creating such a welcoming and special place. “We had an absolutely beautiful week in the beach cottage. The setting is stellar, the cabin is adorable and we slept with the doors wide open, lulled to sleep by the gentle waves. We swam and fished off the dock, had cocktails at sunset and coffee in the Adirondack chairs as the sun came up. Just an idyllic week, we are already dreaming about coming back!”

“Stayed here two nights with my husband and dogs. The property was private and quiet, just what we wanted. Our dogs loved walking the drive. We hiked Blue Hill Mountain and a local preserve. I enjoyed bike riding the Rosier Peninsula and eating at Blaze. This cabin was very fun. Great location with an awesome screened in porch.”

“This room is perfect for someone who is traveling or needs to stay the night on passerby travel. Very simplistic, but as long as you’re okay with minimals, it’s worth it. The host is very kind and helpful. The only thing (I’m sure you can ask if you need to) is first pulling up to the room, it’s a little further back down the driveway on the right. Other than that, perfect.”
