“We had a change of plans for our road trip and found this delightful B and B at the last minute. We were very pleasantly surprised; the property is beautiful architecturally, the hosts were really gracious and welcoming, and the breakfasts were wonderful. “Bed and Berries is a great place for families visiting the region. It was our first trip to the area and Sheri met us with her signature chocolate strawberries and lots of suggestions on which wineries are best and places to eat. “This hotel is a real piece of history and is decorated and furnished accordingly, so don't expect king sized modern beds and air conditioning. However, if , like me, you appreciate people taking the effort to give you an unforgettable experience of how things used to be, this is the place. “Aside from the hosts, this stay was the low point of our trip. The first indicator of things to come was when I made my reservation, I couldn't use my free night. When I spoke with the owner, she was offended that I tried to use a hotels.com free night award at her B&B...in fact, she refused to honor it. Fast-forward to our arrival and check-in was awkward; the parking lot is on one end of the house and you have to walk the length of the inn on an old sidewalk to get to reception...it was……
