“This property was really cozy and inviting. The deck is amazing, and the hot tub was really appreciated as the weather was chilly and cloudy, so it added a little warmth. The owners have really thought of everything, and there were some nice extra touches (doggie bags, well stocked kitchen, very nice bedding/pillows, etc.). We would love to stay again, just hope for better weather next time!”

Two full bathrooms upstairs and a toilet downstairs which is very convenient, with external seating areas on both sides of the house, however if you plan to dine inside the chairs are seated 2 and 2 and not together.The front porch is amazing because we got to seat out even when it rained.The house of located a bit remotely and gets super……

“We had a wonderful weekend going to the Seneca wine trail event and hiking around the local area. We travel with our dogs often and the fenced in backyard was amazing. The house was well appointed with everything you need to enjoy a weekend on the wine trail. Close to both wineries as well as multiple state parks and national forest it was perfect for us. The beds weee comfortable and the house was clean and had everything we could want. ”

“My wife and I enjoyed our stay. This cabin has everything, multiple rooms, view and access to lake Seneca, and accessible to many wineries. I wish we spent more time at the cabin to enjoy it to the fullest. We would highly recommend this location to our friends and family. ”

“Beautiful outdoor space and proximity to Lake Seneca! The house itself was spotless. Excellent kitchen and the game room was perfect we played lots of pool and other games. I’ll bet it is amazing in summer and fall, hot tub was great too - my daughter tried it out!”

“At a previous stay at a different location whenwe arrived things were not like the pictures on line. When we arrived here everything was just like it was described and what the pictures showed.........even better. It was my 4 sisters and myself that enjoyed those 2 days. If the only thing we could complain about is the need for new toilet seats and moving the toilet paper closer then you know the home was near perfect. ”

“Enjoyed our weekend. Nice little room. It had snowed so we did not enjoy any outside amenities but the room was warm and cozy. The bed is very comfortable. Perfect for two people.”

“We had the most amazing stay at Carolyn's place. She left us a place so clean that we all felt comfortable walking around the house without shoes. I have stayed at numerous rentals and this was the cleanest i have ever experienced. The views were gorgeous, with the bonus being that you can see the Cornell campus from here. Easy access to all things Ithaca, wifi was fast, and kitchen was well appointed. We did not go in the lake but we did enjoy some r and r on the dock. Would stay again. ”

“We only stayed for a long weekend but the house was beautiful. We brought our dog with us who we did want to bring along to most things we were doing. The house was gorgeous and very clean especially for a pet friendly location. There are a couple locations across the street but we did mostly drive to the wineries we wanted to visit. Additionally keep in mind it is not a fenced in property, it wasn’t listed as being fenced in but it was something we forgot to consider as our dog did need to……

“My boyfriend and I booked this place and couldn’t have been happier! The cabin was extremely cozy and clean, and has everything you could possibly need for a weekend getaway! The location was very close and convenient to many wineries and local hiking trails. We will absolutely be back again!”

“We normally visit the area in the fall and stay at a place on the lake. This time we decided to try spring and couldn't stay where we normally do. The Bee House was so comfortable and peaceful. You feel like you are in a secluded area yet you are about 20 minutes from Ithaca and not much further to Watkins Glen. This is a great place to stay to visit the west side of Cayuga Lake and the east side of Seneca Lake. Hiking, waterfalls, gorgeous gorges (!), and wineries, cideries, and breweries all……

Close to all the best wineries (LOVE Jeremy and the team at Damiani), walking distance to restaurants (LOVE Thai Elephants), is clean and modern, has great views, easy check-in…. I could go on…. You won’t go wrong by choosing Painted Rock Vacation rental properties. We’ll be back next year!!!”
