“This is probably my first hotel review. I felt I needed to get a review as a thank you to the exceptional service we received at this place. They could not have been more accommodating and nicer. The hotel location is a probably the best location I have ever been too; truly breathtaking. I strongly recommend it.”

“OMGosh this is the prettiest hotel. Right on the Douro River. Every nook is a surprise. All the rooms are slightly different so choose wisely and be specific. We had a wonderful dinner in the the restaurant. All the food was very good, just be aware if you have food restrictions etc. as "no dairy/milk" seems to be get confused. Just ask to speak to someone who knows as they actually pride themselves on being able to accomodate Gluten and Dairy free . Having said this, the breakfast is……

“The hotel is clean, nice and comfortable. We arrived the hotel around 2PM in rainny Thursday. The reception inform the room are not ready. They insist we can check in after 4PM. So we need to take around with umbrella. But we found there are so many customers at that day. ”

“Loved this hotel! Amazing views and wonderful staff. Angela was so helpful in getting us a reservation at a nearby vineyard for a tour and tasting. You’ll definitely need a car, as there really is nothing within walking distance. If you want to get away from it all and enjoy amazing views of the valley in a quiet environment, this is the place for you. The room was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. Our meal at dinner was very good, and so was the complimentary breakfast. There are……

“Three of us stayed Tabuaco for the vineyard visit. The hotel itself is very clean and well maintained; the only main issue is that there's no elevator, so we had to draw our luggage for a couple stairs to reach the lobby and then three floors to the room. I was hoping that the room would be a bit bigger as it's a triple room. It's was in a quiet and clean neighborhood and we accidentally found a bar close by, quelha funda bar, which we love so much. The atmosphere was great and the draft beer……
