“Great spot with tons of privacy. The fishing was awesome! Just a short boat ride from the ramp, and we spent most of our time in the cove catching crappie, bass, and catfish. We really enjoyed it! ”

“We had a fabulous time celebrating the multiple April birthdays in our family. The split level was ideal for early nappers and late-night board games. The site had various areas that you could visit and congregate. My sister and husband are building nearby, and we were able to go fishing and swimming at Sam Rayburn Reservoir. We plan on using this VRBO if it is available again!”

“The house was clean and looked to have many fixtures and such recently updated. My son did notice that the shower in the hall bathroom leaked water from one corner when used. The kitchen was reasonably stocked but if you plan on cooking, I would advise to bring your own pans, foil, etc. There were plenty of plates and silverware. There is no dishwasher, which was not an issue for us, but we did have to buy some dish soap. Only 2 dish towels were provided as well. I would also recommend bringing……

“This is the secomd time we have stayed here and is perfect. Easy to get to, convient to boat ramp, and has everything we need for a weekend of fishing. Thanks again!”

“We were in the area for a family reunion. This was exactly what we were looking for. It was a nice little cabin that was built in the 1800’s and is still being renovated. The area is remote and quiet. We had everything we needed, including daily visits by the owners dogs, who were very friendly. The owners stopped by to drop off an extra space heater because a cool front was coming in. They were very nice people and we had a good visit. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again. ”

“Everything was really great! My family and I enjoyed every minute of our trip. We spent Easter weekend and had so many fun places to hide Easter eggs. My husband and son caught a few small bass off the dock (which of course they threw back), but it’s always fun to catch. Everything was exactly as described in the listing plus extras. Beds were comfortable. We enjoyed playing poker for fun with the nice set of poker chips.I definitely recommend this cabin and can’t wait for our next trip!”

“SO GLAD we found this beautiful cabin! It is so cute, just as the pictures show. We spent 3 days lounging, enjoying the scenery, reading the owner's curated collection of magazines, and cooking in the lovely kitchen. The bed is comfortable, the couch is comfortable, and everything was perfectly clean and accommodating. Love the aesthetics and simplicity of the space”

“Neighbors were great. Quiet and woods were beautiful. Disappointed in all the tools out on the deck but accustomed to “camps” so we just moved things out of the way. Would stay again.”
