“Overall always a great stay. Breakfast is a good selection. Location and parking fantastic. Lobby and porch are great for lounging. The showers could use some work, doors barely slide open. I don’t mind all the stairs but be forewarned for narrow staircases. Biggest issue is the sound. Never fails, 5am there are children running laps above any room I’ve stayed in or it sounds like people are moving furniture at 2am.”

“My first visit to this lovely property for an annual 5k event we attend in Ocean Grove. Spotless room, comfy common area and beautiful covered front porch for relaxing. All within a short walk to the beach! An enjoyable place to stay- we’ll return again!”

“Dormer house itself shows its age and may not suite the younger crowd, but evokes a gentile atmosphere of the Victorian era very pleasant for those who appreciate that age.”

“Check in was very easy. Room was small but clean and had everything we needed. The room was uncomfortably warm at night due to abnormal warm temps outside but the service was great to get a window AC unit put in late at night. Very easy to walk to asbury park and the beach. Nice quiet area. ”

“Cape May is our happy place and we found a great new spot to stay. The property is in the heart of Cape May and walkable to all the great spots. John who runs the property is a great. Our breakfast was very tasty. The room had classic Victorian features and the bed was very comfortable. Highly recommend.”

“Nancy the breakfast server was so pleasant! The room and bathroom were gorgeous, clean and the well decorated. I loved the comfy porch and the quiet swing/hammock area below the porch. I would most definitely stay here again. ”
