“The staff are friendly and very helpful. No lift is a challenge when room is on the third floor, but staff member was excellent and too my case to my room when I arrived late in the evening. Although somewhat busy with almost full restaurant at breakfast time, the two staff on duty were excellent - helpful and friendly. I stayed here last year before going on a week’s sailing trip and was happy to come back again this year before setting sail. Thanks to all the staff. AE”

“Leuke accomodatie die de kamers aan het vernieuwen is. Wij zaten in een gerenoveerde kamer op de derde verdieping. Hele fijne douche, nette kamer, fijn balkon. Alleen de trap was loodzwaar naar boven haha. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel! Simpel, maar prima ontbijt. Geen dineropties, maar wellicht is dat in het hoofseizoen anders. Parkeren lukt niet altijd, maar dat is in het gehele dorp zo. Het personeel doet er alles aan om toch een plekje te vinden/vrij te houden! Redelijk centrale……

“Beautiful location in the heart of the old town district within a maze (literally) of cobblestone streets. Not accessible by car, so a couple minutes walk to catch the morning taxi. If you’re looking for a quiet place this might not be your best option as it’s quite touristy late into the night and the fortress walls have a way of echoing the sounds. Otherwise great spot with wonderful staff and first class concierge service! ”
