“First impressions as you pull up are that the neighborhood is great, the waterfront location is great. But this property is dated, and in bad need of repair and TLC. When you walk into the house it only gets worse. The yard is more dandelions than grass and has significant areas where it was just dirt and gravel bits. There was no pleasing landscaping or anything cheery or happy about this house or the property. The dock has rotten boards. Some missing. Others lifted, warped, and the paint……

“Quite spot in an enclosed side yard. Can't hear the highway at all once inside. Is next to the neighbor's RV, but didn't hear anything. Unsure if occupied. Easy to get to the White River Amphitheater and then back home. Nice couple. Felt safe.”

“Felt safe in this neighborhood. Anyone with mobility issues should be aware of steps leading into home have no railing. There are also stairs leading to living area but these stairs have railing for support. Nice sized kitchen with minimum of kitchen utensils if you are wanting to cook. If you are eating out or bringing in food , this is not an issue. We would stay here again based upon feeling safe and meeting our needs. “Overall our experience was pretty good. Positives: The house itself was new and very clean and there were plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, and enough space for 4 women. Negatives: The location wasn't the greatest as we had to drive a long distance to get anywhere. It was over 90 degrees during our stay and there is no A/C and no screen on one of the bedroom windows, so we had to keep that window closed. “We had a wonderful stay at Mike's property--everything was just as pictured. We appreciated the comfortable beds, welcome snacks and waters, tourism info and great communication with the host. The home theater area with comfy recliners was an added bonus. This home is in a really convenient location, close to grocery stores, restaurants and coffee. We also liked being able to use the garage to park vehicles and store wedding necessities. We would definitely stay here again if we are back in……
