“The place is very quaint but a bit tight for our group. For example, you could not open the basement door and the back door at the same time. This made unpacking and reloading a challenge. “The pictures are accurate as seen on the website . However, the amenities left a lot to be desired. The six bath towels were good and the 7 washcloths were horrible as some had bleach stains on them and they were very thin. No hand towels were provided to dry your hands on in the bathroom. Nor were there paper towels in the bathroom for that purpose. The other rooms were clean but the bathroom needs a deep cleaning . No cleaning products were provided either. ”

We were lucky to have a 3/4 moon over the Fox River, a fire in the fire pit, and morning coffee on the deck. I would recommend this home for any event. “Don’t let the “upper floor” on this listing scare you away, it is a full house you have access to which was our concern. There’s a second (basement) unit that is fully separate- although you need to be conscious of noise on the first floor of the house if it’s rented which was fine with us. Good for a local wedding we were attending- tons of space. Perfect for our group of 4 (late 20’s, early 30’s) but would be a good sized property for a family as well.
