“The one star rating for communication is for the reservation foul up which was not the fault of the Ala Moana staff, they were amazing!
Unfortunately, not booking through the hotel directly caused so much unneeded stress. I paid a lot of money before arriving and once at the hotel they had no reservation for me so I had to pay for another room through the hotel directly. I was fortunate the hotel wasn't fully booked.

“What we loved- a 7 min walk to the beach. It was like having our own private beach! Barely a person in sight. Family friendly for older kids (7). The yard on the property was wonderful- open grass area that was fenced in for the kids. Great sunset views. And a nice wrap around porch to relax. The inside of the property had a nice floor plan and good for family time. Wonderful large dining table. What could’ve made the stay even better would be a few more amenities such as towels/ beach towels……

“I chose this property because I was traveling with my 91 year old mother. We had a lovely large room, two beds, a full kitchen with utensils, a large bathroom, and a large private balcony. Our rom faced the sunset, with harbor and ocean views. We were able to park our rental car at a highrise parking lot in the next door building.
