“This was a lovely location- right across from an absolutely gorgeous beach! The owners were very responsive and left a great book with hikes, restaurant menus and more. Sunrise at Pillbox is a must. The downstairs was a bit small and the master bedroom was reached by walking through the smaller bedroom but both were very nice and this wasn’t a an issue for our family. Overall wonderful!!”

“We had a great time while staying here. The drive way was a bit hard to find at first but once you find it its easy to find again. It also has a little pull off from the main road which makes getting into the drive way much easier. We actaully saw Giant manta Rays feeding out in the ocean from the back porch and woke up to 6 peacocks walking around the front yard one morning. You are in close proximity to grocery stores and some food options so the location is perfect. I would absolutely……

“This property is the best rental we've stayed at by far! Super clean, 3 minutes walk to the best beach in Oahu, Lanikai and just so charming. My husband and I celebrated our honeymoon here and we couldnt ask for a better location. The host was very nice and accomodating. I recomend this property 100%. “The unit was perfect with beds. Kitchen and view of both sunrise and sunset Private use of beach with surf boards, body boards and snorkeling gear available to use! We came here to reunite with our kids 26,23,20 who have been travelling in New Zealand!! Property owner was available to check in on our status and ensured we had everything we needed via the app messages! Property manager was on site if we had any problems which we did not! Wonderful spot we enjoyed the relaxing and close to city……

“We wanted somewhere to stay on the north shore that would feel more local and be near the ocean. This little condo delivered. When they say ocean views they aren’t kidding. The beach was 20 feet from the windows! The unit was clean, provided all necessary amenities, comfortable beds, embraced the beach vibe, and what a view! My boys loved that there were twin needs so they didn’t have to share a bed. Super happy with the stay, would definitely book again. ”

The house is about as convenient to both Lanikai and Kailua as you can get, easy walk or bike to both. It is a perfect combination of relaxed decor, cleanliness and amenities. Everything you need for the beach and day to day living is there, readily available and works. It's an easy place to relax in and be comfortable. The view is fantastic. “Cannot say enough good things about the kindness and hospitality of our hosts and the beautiful, light and open space and all the appointments of the property. The location is just steps from a beautiful private beach that stretches for miles, and it's convenient to both Pupukea and Haleiwa. Add to that A/C and parking and you really can't ask for anything more...5-star experience!”

“The cottage itself is the second story of the two-story unit. The inside is very attractively decorated Hawaiian beach motif. It hadeverything you could need in a beach apartment with chairs, towels, umbrellas, body boards, etc. masks fins. snorkel. The apartment itself is a bit of a sauna, it’s soaks in that sun and with the humidity of the beach it is very warm and sticky. The owner has yet to fix two windows that would allow more Breeze into the apartment, I really hope she fixes them now……
