“Check-in was easy, home was fun to stay and prepare our meals. At first we were concerned upon arrival as the home doesn’t have air conditioning. The home cooled down after opening windows & doors. Two fans, plus a ceiling fan kept us comfortable at night. There is a general store nearby which was helpful. Sunrise was beautiful and we enjoyed the walk to the beach from this home. Recommend staying here and thank you to our host and owner.”

“We spent a long weekend at the Elua Cottage and it was so relaxing! It’s stocked with all of the essentials. It has amazing ocean views and even my 6 yr old was sad to leave. Ocean breeze and the sound of the waves all night were so nice. It really is a gem of a place to call home base while exploring Hana. Easy to find, even after dark. Well definitely stay again!”

“The property is a dream. Large house with separate entries for the walk out basement and upstairs units, perfect for two families to share. We loved the views, the fruit trees (particularly the lychees and mangoes) and my daughter was obsessed with the neighbour's goats who kept sneaking into our yard. The Eddie Tam park next door is huge and beautiful, great for sunset walks. We always stay in upcountry when we visit Maui, as we like the quiet and cooler temperatures, and central location on……

“My family of 5 stayed here for 14 days in July. We had a fabulous time and would highly recommend it.I did a lot of research before booking, and the pictures and reviews of this rental are 100% accurate. When we arrived, we were greeted with the stunning view of the beach from the living room / lanai. Lindsay also started us off with a gift of Hawaiian coffee and chocolate macadamia nuts. A very nice touch!Our 3 kids stayed in the upstairs and my wife and I stayed in the downstairs master……

“Our family thoroughly enjoyed the accommodations during our stay on Maui. I was pleasantly surprised to find everything that I would need and want as if it were my own home. The masterbed was very very comfortable and we slept great. The air conditioning was perfect and kept the entire house cool, and it cooled the house quickly once we turned it on. “ Easy walk to good food and shopping. Beach front with expansive lawn and beautiful trees. House is comfortable with great AC and well equipped. Best part are the 10-20 turtles who appeared each nite after sunset to rest on the beach. Cordial prompt communication with management. Nice artwork in house and lots of bird watching. “Overall we had a great stay in Hana. It was so nice to be able to enjoy that side of the island without rushing to drive back. There were more than a few light bulbs out and a few geckos but would still recommend. ”

“We had the most amazing experience in Hawaii and was mostly due to where we stayed! David and Dawn were the most amazing hosts! Very responsive and helpful with restaurants, things to do and made our stay very comfortable! This place was perfect for our family of 5 and the views - stunning!!
