“This resort is no longer open, however we were not notified by E prior to arriving onsite after booking well in advance. Luckily the staff were very nice and explained the situation, but we had to make last minute accommodations to stay elsewhere which was not fun after a long day of traveling. Lesson learned: either book directly or confirm bookings outside of Expedia since their notification system is not reliable.”

My family emigrated from the Philippines to Kauai and eventually settled in Oahu. I had never been to the Big Island so when my sister suggested we visit I said OKAY. Although we did not get to meet Sarah, she was on vacation, her lovely aunt Lila filled in. The breakfast in the morning was great, with a lot of delicious options, the fruit bowl each morning was awesome.
