“This was a very nice place. The updated building was done nicely, keeping the rustic look of old, with a touch of new. Room was clean and spacious. The only thing I could complain about was the small a/c unit, that seemed to struggle on the hot day. The room wasn't hot, but definately could have been cooler to relax in, after a day in the heat. ”

“Definitely one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Super quiet, clean, convenient, it’s located in town, which there were plenty of shopping and food options. Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel. And I will be staying there again in the future.”

“We only stayed 3 nights, however I wish we had planned a whole week. The owners made us feel so welcome and a part of the river community. The VRBO had awesome views from the balcony where we could watch the barges and other boats going up and down the river. It is a very rural area so if you want to relax and have peace and quiet, this is the place. We brought our dog and she truly enjoyed our walks and visiting with the owners' dog Forrest.
