“My wife and I stayed for 2 nights. We can’t recommend this home too much. It certainly felt like we were at home. The room was so clean, bed was comfortable and bathroom spotless. Our room was well appointed, entered via its own garden. We had special views across the whole valley. “The house is a bit up-hill. Better take a local taxi to drive you there. The host gave me a shortcut to walk down to the main road which is much convenient and fast for down-hill. This is a homestay, the host is living on the ground floor and 3 guestrooms on the second floor. I do love the common area upstair very much. “We had the most wonderful stay at the Coffee Bungalow. The building, which has been beautifully restored and appointed, sits in arguably the best location above Kandy and the warm and elegant hospitality was memorable. We cannot recommend more highly! I was shocked to see a negative review in my name which most definitely did not come from me. Beware of hacks. ”
