“Our first impression of the Le Meridien Chanba Hotel in Xi'an was awe-inspiring due to its location, majesty, lights and modern look. However upon check-in, we had an issue as to whether or not the room was previously paid (it was previously booked and pre-paid) and if the room itself was ready - this took over 30 minutes to discuss and resolve. Quite graciously, the on-site manager, Igor, was able to rectify the situation and compensated us with an evening apéritif. Thank you Igor. As for……

“早餐不錯，房間（套房）很寬敞乾淨，清潔人員很盡責，酒店內雖然四處皆有張貼禁菸標誌，但是酒店並未嚴格執行室內禁菸！電梯間時時刻刻都瀰漫著菸味，甚至除夕用餐時還有許多人在包廂區域抽菸，顯見酒店高層並未重視這個問題，有負五星酒店的評價⋯⋯”

“The location is a bit far from metro and it 10 to 15 minutes walking distance to find a restaurant or busy district. The staff is polite but cannot help much in sight seeing information. They don't even know that they have a sauna. Anyway, the sauna was not in operation even in winter time!”
