“While in Maui I highly recommend staying in Hana for a night or two rather than trying to do the entire "Road to Hana" in one day, and our stay here was great!Located on a beautiful black sand beach, with plenty of local action. Super easy walk/drive into 'town' where there are great food trucks (open until 7:30. Try the drunken noodles....just trust me). There was a great grill to use to cook a meal at home and watch the sunset as well.Perfectly located between the park entrances and Paia. ……

“It was crystal clean inside the property.Location was closer to the turtle beach. Quiet neighborhood. Though this is an older property, it was renovated to the best. All upgraded appliances worked as expected and TVs in bedrooms too. An elevator would be a nice addition, we had to carry all our big luggages to the 2nd floor through stairs.The HOA could put some effort to keep the outside of the property painted and maintain clean walls. ”

“The apartment was in a great location for starting the road to Hana and exploring Haleakala and upcountry. Short drive into Paia to the shops and restaurants. Small food/coffee shop within walking distance was really useful. Mama’s beach and its turtles right on your doorstep!! Accommodation was as listed, and had everything we needed for our stay. AC in the bedroom was a little loud but didn’t affect our stay. Would recommend for anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the area. ”

“Decided to do the drive and spend the night in Hāna. We enjoyed the Black sand beach and the peaceful atmosphere. Hāna shuts down about 6pm and there isn’t anything to do. Just be prepared for that. Bring breakfast food’s with you. Kitchen was fully equipped. Appreciate coffee was provided. ”
