“I chose this listing because it was on a flower farm and seemed in a quiet area. I never saw an actual flower farm but was immersed in the landscape. We were the only guests around and it was peaceful. It rained each night and morning we were there. The only negative for me was no air conditioning. I guess I missed that part in the listing. The host was very responsive and sent me information a month ahead. This cottage is also centrally located to many things to see and do! ”

“Dawn and David have created a resort feel without the crowds. We stayed in their Jungalow for three nights celebrating our 30th wedding anniversary. It was cozy and the views spectacular! We were able to reserve the hot tub through their scheduling app which worked great.We love to bird watch and were even provided birdseed to fill the feeder right outside the large windows to watch them up close. Good location for visiting Haleakalā. Highly recommend!! Well done Dawn and David!!”

“We spent two nights at the property. We’re so glad we had extra time in Hana. We really enjoyed the covered porch with the nice breeze. The kitchen had everything we needed, and we appreciated the extra touches like having a jar of local coffee and the coffee presses. I was pleasantly surprised by the water pressure and the wonderful hot water from the solar system! And the outside shower was fantastic! If we’re ever lucky enough to come back to Hana, we would definitely stay here again. ”

Hank has provided everything we needed…beautiful home, comfy bed, incredible views. We love going to the touristy areas during the day. Then returning home to the lanai, soaking tub, outdoor shower. “We had a great time at the cottage. It is super cute and an easy walk to town. The kitchen has all of the basics. All of the bathroom essentials are covered. We really appreciated the washer and dryer. We also loved that the host left extra sunscreen and toiletries left behind by previous guests under the sink in the bathroom for use instead of tossing. “Listing was accurate, the place was clean and in a good location. Host warns you about it being in a tropical rainforest with bugs and they are not lying! Be prepared to see bugs. But be smart and don't leave food out or trash in the unit. Also check the fridge, I found a little cricket hanging out in the door shelf :).
