“I chose this listing because it was on a flower farm and seemed in a quiet area. I never saw an actual flower farm but was immersed in the landscape. We were the only guests around and it was peaceful. It rained each night and morning we were there. The only negative for me was no air conditioning. I guess I missed that part in the listing. The host was very responsive and sent me information a month ahead. This cottage is also centrally located to many things to see and do! ”

“This charming cottage in Hana takes one back in time to another era where life was a little less complicated. It's a good example of how a seemingly simple little home that is nicely cared for can be all one needs.The home and grounds exemplify Feng shui, in perfect alignment with neighbouring pastures and the nearby ocean. One looks forward to returning after a full day of exploring and just being.The home does have some critters like a couple geckos and the odd spider that somehow sneak in……

“The place was beautiful and the gardens are absolutely breathtaking!!! It was so peaceful and perfect for my husband and I after a VERY long day making the drive to Hana and hiking the Pipiwai Trail to see the Waimoku Falls!!! Only wish we could have stayed here longer on our trip!”

“Just a wonderful spot away from hustle and bustle. Cabin has a thoughtful and personalized style that makes home rentals so special. Sydney gave us an incredible tour of the property and the knowledge and care she displayed is very commendable. An incredible view off the deck let us watch the weather every morning and evening. “We had an amazing stay in upcountry Maui. The cottage was super clean, well-stocked and exactly as described. We loved the location, a very peaceful, rural countryside vibe. “My wife and I stayed in the Gingerbread House for a week in June. Eve welcomed us and helped us get oriented with the area, even suggesting places to visit and restaurants to check out. She was very quick to respond to questions. The location of the Gingerbread House itself is generally located in the middle of Maui away from the resorts, where we were able to enjoy a more authentic Hawaiian experience.
