“Had an amazing stay - Andre was very communicative especially when the power went out! Property was a perfect base camp for everything we wanted to do in the area (Volcanes NP, Hilo, etc) - accommodations were comfortable and having the ocean right outside our door was just amazing! The area is charming and the people are kind! Will definitely be coming back!”

“This is a beautiful place and quite clean. They also have a cache of masks, snorkel, chairs and other beach items which is helpful. We used this cottage as base camp to visit Volcanoes NP. It is a good option if you have a rental car. They don't call it the "Big Island" for nothing. There is a lot of windshield time when traveling the area. My only constructive criticism of this property, as well as almost all other VRBOs, is to reduce the unnecessary furniture, bookshelves, and tchotchkes that……

“The house is beautiful, and the location felt perfect for us. We enjoyed relaxing on the second floor balcony (even doing a little astrophotography!), going to the nearby beaches, and taking day trips out to Hilo and the Volcanoes National Park! I couldn't have asked for a better home base. They also had a good stock of cookware, so we were able to cook most of our meals which saved us both money and travel time for food. This place was really a treat!”

“I spent 3 life changing nights at this rental, and I am already planning my return. Words can't express how magical my stay was! I urge anyone thinking of renting this property to just do it. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! The oceanside location of the home simply can not be beat - I don’t think you could get any closer to the ocean. Falling asleep to the sounds of the waves is what my life has been missing and I plan to visit this area of the Big Island as much as possible and hope to stay at this……
