“ This house was great for our family trip to Hilo. We had 2 adults and 2 kids, one kid slept on a pull-out couch in the living room and was very comfortable. The house was very nice and clean. The hosts were communicative and answered any questions we had promptly. The house is a little outside Hilo, but it was an easy drive and is located in a nice, quiet neighborhood. We would highly recommend this house for a family looking for a nice, comfortable, safe place to stay in the Hilo area.”

“Beautiful house from the mid-1930’s filled with wonderful artifacts and Hawaiiana. Nice kitchen area for in home cooking - pots pans rice cooker etc- Comfynooks for relaxing- great wrap around deck with lounge chairs and a dining table! The garden is lush and creative. There are many cocqui frogs at night so if that bothers you, there is even ears plugs! Our only negative was that due to a plumbing issue my husband could not soak in the tub (for his degenerative disk) altho the shower worked……

“The house is comfortable with ample rooms. The bathrooms are unique. Location was perfect, near the beach, not far from great farmers markets. Nearby Sea View has a lot of local entertainment. We enjoyed the evening frogs and morning roosters. The owners dog is very sweet.”

“The location, the ambiance and peacefulness exceeded my expectations a hundred fold! But what truly made the stay so fantastic was how my wife and I were treated like ohana! There was a sadness to leaving because Rochelle (Celle) became our extended family! We plan on strengthening the wonderful way we were treated! Beautiful memories were made! Mahalo nui loa!”
