“The process was easy. Owner was responsive. The place was clean and well stocked. Charming decor and relaxing outdoor spaces. Perfect for a weekend retreat. We enjoyed time on the deck which we like to say had “treehouse vibes” and in the spa. Loved walking up the road with the dog to see the views of the reservoir. ”

“The property was truly lovely and very completely outfitted. I was traveling with my mother and two nephews and unfortuntely we arrived during the dreadful heatwave that hit the northeast. The property was exactly as pictured and we had almost enough fans to cool the place down. The ceiling fans certainly helped but an ac unit on the first floor would have helped. No one could have known the heat would be this severe but a second ac unit would have helped. The het broke on day 3 of our four……

“My family and dog enjoyed our stay, the house was clean had a nice outdoor deck and a great firepit for evenings. Some of us were climbing in the Gunks and some of us were just hanging in town and this house was the perfect location for both. The host was easy to work with, we will definitely be back.”

“The overall stay was very pleasant. The property was easy to find and the check process went smoothly. The cabin was very clean upon arrival and everything was as the host described it. The kitchen facilities were nice and spacious. While we didn’t cook much, it was nice to use for small meals. The bathroom was also neat and clean. ”

“The little red cabin was perfect for us and our two dogs. Close to area attractions, but secluded and quiet too. We even had a bear stroll through our yard! Owner super-responsive to any question or concern. Will definitely stay again!”

“The house was very clean and a perfect layout for families with young children. The basement even came equipped with some toys. Outside is a large backyard with a trail to a river for the kids to throw sticks/ rocks into. Kelder’s farm is about 30 minutes away and a must stop for those with kids. ”
