It is perfectly located a short drive to Woodstock, hiking trails, and the town of Phoenicia. We are already planning our next stay!”

“Thoroughly enjoyed the mossy moody cabin - stylishly decorated and comfy - secluded in the woods- but close to wonderful restaurants and shopping, hikes. Our host was responsive and provided excellent recommendations to explore the region. ”

“Stayed for three days with my partner. Cabin is a small place with a bedroom, living room, kitchen and bathroom. The size wasn’t an issue since it was expected. You’ll maneuver yourself through if you’re a bigger person. It is next to a running stream that you can hear from the bedroom (very calming). Note: it is about 20-30 yards away from a main road, so any traffic that goes through there you will be able to hear. It wasn’t that much but it’s not a being secluded in the woods quiet.”

“We had such a lovely stay at the Black Pines A-Frame! The house itself is beautiful—thoughtfully designed and full of charm. The kitchen was incredibly well-stocked with everything we needed to prepare home-cooked meals, which made staying in feel extra cozy and enjoyable.It happened to rain the entire weekend, so we spent most of our time indoors, and the fireplace truly saved the day. It kept the space warm and inviting, and made our rainy retreat feel peaceful and relaxing.Highly recommend……

“This was the perfect cabin for a quick family getaway in the Catskills. Peter was very responsive to any questions before, during, and after our trip making checkin and checkout a breeze. The cabin was equipped with anything we could possibly need, from massive coffee makers, flashlights, plenty of seasoned wood for the beautiful fireplace to first aid kits and I even saw an EpiPen in the fridge!! The large dinning room table is where we spent time every night playing games. I enjoyed my coffee……

“Excellent location to ski Hunter, Windham, and Bellyaire mountains. Hiked Katterskill falls. Did not eat out. Restaurants were limited. Nice working wood stove. Wood provided. Local hiking trail right out front door called Diamond Notch trail”

“Loved this place! The owner checked on us which was very thoughtful! Very clean! The fresh fruit, granola and yogurt was a great touch. My only suggestion is to replace the wicker furniture with something more comfortable. ”
