“Nellie’s log cabin is a real gem! Nestled in the woods on a working farm, this cabin is surrounded by beautiful hardwoods and faces a picturesque pond. It is peaceful and quiet and there is no traffic noise- only the sounds of birds, bullfrogs and chirping crickets. It is very close to Hanging Rock State Park. The hostess is extremely responsive and very helpful with any questions or concerns and the cabin upon arrival was absolutely spotless. This was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed!……

“Wonderful home in a nice neighborhood. Google maps puts you on an adjacent street without access to the driveway, but that was easily figured out. Team managing the property were responsive and helpful. Cabin part of the home was a little smokey smelling, but that is to be expected with a real fireplace. Dishwasher could use some servicing but was functional.Would definitely book this place again.”

“We were in town to move our daughter to Winston-Salem. It was nice to have coffee there for our early morning departure. There was not a lot to cook with, so I was glad we were eating out. The shower water is opposite of what I’m used to. Cold was all the way to the left and hot to the right. Just FYI. ”
