“This was a quaint property that we had to rent on short notice because another owner double booked and had to use the Expedia guarantee. As such, we did not look at the listing as close as we should have. There was no TV or microwave, but the listing didn't say there was. Curtains were not on every window and the windows that did were thin. We think this was being used as a store/yoga studio/learning center - thus the name Old School House. The cooking utensils were one small frying pan, one……

“Our stay was restful and delightful. The place was very clean and well furnished, including the kitchen. The hosts were engaging and responsive. We enjoyed sitting on the large wrap around porch and watching the goats play.The fenced yard allowed our little dog to safely explore. We were just 6-8 minutes away from any shopping we needed to do. I must add the mattress was very excellent. ”

"I like the staff at the front desk very much. Check-in is also very smooth, but the cleaning of the room is worrying. I was thirsty at night and drank only a little water left in my cup. I subconsciously glanced at the cup and then I woke up. There was a small cockroach in the cup. It was alive!!!! Then I couldn't sleep anymore. I checked my bed for cockroaches. It was terrible. And there were a lot of small cockroaches in the bathroom. I killed them before I went to bed. There were so many cockroaches in such a cold weather. This was obviously unusual. I knew that the price was already affordable. I didn't expect too much, but in the water Cockroaches really scared me. I can't imagine what would happen if I drank it. I hope the hotel manager should pay attention to this problem and can't imagine what the summer here will be like."
