“Our family loved this property! It was so comfortable and clean with a large outdoor space. It had a nice kitchen for food prep. The firepit outside was so fun. Lots of room for games inside and out. We loved that it was close to all the sights and yet very private. I would definitely stay here again. ”

“Loved the house. Everything was decorated so nicely with antiques and new stuff mixed together. Loved the front porch. When we did eat at the house, that was where we would sit. Loved the little shed out back. Marissa has an extensive CD collection out there with a nice CD player. There’s also a nice garden to sit in right by the shed. The house was also located directly next to the bike trail. Was a nice thing for our adult son to go biking into Traverse while my husband and I enjoyed some……

“We had an amazing stay in Cedar. The hosts are very kind and accomodating. They took us on a tour of the farm, gifted us a dozen fresh eggs for our stay and a bundle of fresh picked lavendar at our departure. The view of the lake (and farm animals!) from the front porch is great. We enjoyed taking a short walk down to Lake Leelanau to swim and fish daily as well. Our kids ages 14, 11, and 9 had a great time as well!”

“The property is charming! The backyard overlooking the fields is very picturesque at sunrise and sunset. The property is close to town which was very convenient. The property is close to one of the main roads into town so you can hear every car that drives by. But overall, this was perfect for our trip (we even saw a black bear cub while driving into town). We would definitely book again if we ever find ourselves back in Kalkaska. ”

“This home is spectacular in every way!! We have been going on a grill weekend for 30 years and this location and accommodations were wonderful. We had an outstanding bakery down the street, beautiful views and a short walk to the winery. The two houses were clean, beautiful and accommodated it is perfectly. We are planning on coming back for a longer stay!!”
