“This was a perfect getaway for our family and dogs. The location is great. The house is comfortable and exactly as pictured. The beds were great. The screened in porch is not heated in the winter but the fireplace is great! It’s a quiet area but also incredibly close to traverse city. We would definitely stay again!”

“This property was very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the large living room that was very relaxing, especially with the gas fireplace. We did minimal cooking, but it was nice to have plenty of cookware and dishes. The sheer window coverings made for less privacy and were not dark enough for sleeping with the streetlight shining in and once it was daylight. Otherwise, it is a nice home. ”

“I booked this stay to celebrate my birthday with friends, and I would do it again in a heartbeat! The location was great. Close enough to everything but far enough out to enjoy the sounds of nature and view the stars at night! The dome was awesome! “A perfect weekend getaway to celebrate our 35th anniversary! I’ve been wanting to stay in a geodome. It was so cool! Everything was lovely, very clean, comfortable, beautifully decorated, and well-appointed. We loved the covered outdoor area with soaking tub and campfires. Great trails nearby for hiking. We chose to hang out and enjoy the peace and privacy but there’s a lot to do nearby. Rob was very responsive and provided very helpful information. We also appreciated it being pet-friendly.……

“My husband had a work conference at the Grand Traverse Resort and we decided to turn it into a long-weekend in TC with our family of 5 and 2 dogs (kids aged 7-11). The location of this property was perfect - only about 8 min drive to downtown, 3-4 min to Toms grocery (even closer to Costco), and 8 min to the resort for his meetings. Plus, only a 3-4 min walk to the closest beach! It is right next to the airport, which worried me a little, but I really didn't notice any airplane noise. As……

“My wife and I were looking for a quiet place near a lake with a short easy walk to the water. That is exactly what we found at the Stillwater Cottage. The house is beautiful and much larger that we needed for just the two of us. Everything in the house is in great shape and we found it very relaxing. “The house was clean and had plenty of kitchen amenities. I was expecting more in the bathroom/shower (shampoo, etc.) but it wasn’t a big deal since we had brought our own. I must not have read the description very closely since I wasn’t aware that the house did not have air conditioning or a TV in the main living area (although I believe the A/C was mentioned in the listing). There was a TV in the master bedroom but that wasn’t super useful for a house full of grown women:) Overall, the place……
