“My mum uses a Zimmer and the acces for her limited mobility was amazing. The staff truly went over and above from the second we walked in to the bar, restaurant, concierge, restaurant, spa etc.... I don't know how they get to know everyones names as so many people go through the door every day. Everyone was exceptional. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Food was out of this world. We weren't bothered too much yet, restaurant seemed to know just by a look, that we were going to ask for……

“Manse in the Beach is the perfect getaway. Just opposite a lovely beach which my dog and I had to ourselves. From arriving I felt right at home, the accomodation is beautiful and Sarah & Brian are the perfect hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. I had poached eggs bacon & sourdough bread just yum . I was lucky enough to coincide my stay with a Thai night on the Saturday and the food was delicious, great variety of freshly cooked dishes all beautifully presented. Everything about Manse on the……
“Darren was a brilliant and friendly host without being intrusive, which is his style. Great continental breakfasts, lovely spacious room and very clean facilities. Hotel is situated in a lovely country area with easy access to the town. Lovely area to stay with plenty of places to visit. We spent 4 nights of bliss. ”

“Main standout quality of this hotel is it’s location. Beautiful views of The Mournes and very well maintained gardens. Also ample car parking space. If you want a quiet place to escape then this is it. Very attentive staff and excellent food. We did get the impression that one of the male staff was overworked- it seemed that he was absolutely doing everything, but must stress that he was an excellent ‘people person’ and that nothing was a bother to him.

“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted.
Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”
“Gorgeous property in a quiet rural location, but convenient (5 minute drive) to several towns with lots of dining options. Very comfortable beds, great water pressure in the shower, charming and welcoming hosts, and delicious(!) breakfast. Beautiful garden filled with birdsong, very peaceful and relaxing - we would have loved to stay longer! Hosts were very helpul with recommendations for places to eat and things to see - absolutley delightful all around!”
“A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. Good parking, near enough (by car) to the Mourne Mountains, Murlough, Tyrella and Ballykinler beaches and Newcastle. About a 45 min drive from Belfast. A great haven for peaceful outdoor pursuits or just getting away from it all. Will happily stay again! ”
