“Great location on the harbour. All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Limited parking which is chargeable if not booking direct. 15 minute walk to town centre. We didn’t use the restaurant but looked nice with locally sourced goods. ”

“The rooms are spacious clean and well equipped. This is not really a hotel but rather a series of rooms with a reception desk inside a building which seems to have been gutted of all else . They don’t do breakfast and there’s nowhere remotely near where you can get some . The only available food close by is a fish and chip shop. It’s a short walk to Harwich International and a 5 minute train ride to Harwich Town”

“Our second time here and you can not fault this place . The rooms, the staff, the location are just perfect and the dogs are made to feel like VIP’s. The hot tub is lovely and the restaurant has such a nice ambiance about it ( and yes dogs are welcome in there too!)”

“Past it sell by date and in need of real attention. Plus poor bar service due to lack of staff. Frankly over priced which is such a pity. Tissue box by bed contained one folded tissue yes just the one! ”

“Need to walk up staircase to rooms on first or second floor, clean and tidy, well maintained. Double glazed window keeps out noise. Good value for price.”

“I think a lot of people has reviewed on this. But I can only said air conditioning system issue need to be fix. Otherwise it is hard for other customer wants to stay. It is summer time and the air conditioning system not work. All you got is a fan will only have little help. Can you imagine stay in the room with 27C? And there is not compensation. Charging almost 100 pound per night, and it is the sleep environment we got.”

“Fantastic stay! Will definitely be back! The staff couldn't be friendlier and more accomodating. The room was spacious and very quiet. I didn't even hear my neighbours, which is very unusual in a hotel. I couldn't believe it when I opened my eyes in the morning and it was gone 8am!”
