“We had a wonderful time staying along the beautiful Kennebec River. Chris was very punctual with his thoughtful responses to my questions before and during our stay. If you're thinking about visiting in the winter, my only recommendation would be to come with good winter tires or AWD/4WD. The drive is fairly steep and although very well maintained by the plowing contractor, it is tricky when covered in 6". Gorgeous area, we will be back!”

“Great location, couldn’t get in on time because the cleaners were still there, they didn’t do a good job at all, found lots of areas that weren’t clean, trash bins were full, and the pots/ pans/ utensils could use upgrades. 5th year renting the house and this was the dirtiest we’ve ever seen it.”

“We had an issue with unlocking the front door, the code wouldn’t work. We were given another code for the key box and had to share one key the entire stay. Other than that the property is very nice, we loved the fire pit and the view! ”

“We recently stayed here for a family retreat with 20 people, ranging from adults to teenagers, kids, and even infants. The house exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s absolutely beautiful, well-maintained, and offers activities for all ages. The kids especially loved the ninja challenge course, while we all enjoyed the canoeing and kayaking—there were more than enough kayaks for everyone! Carrie was fantastic, regularly checking in to see if we needed anything and always responding……

“We loved our vacation at Camp Baumann. The house was spacious and roomy yet cozy at the same time. So fun and unique and comfy spots for the whole family inside and outside on the multiple decks and docks. Loved the kayak and paddle boards, hot tub, fire pit - you name it. Steve was an excellent host. He was very responsive to my many questions and requests for recommendations. All 11 of us had a great time. ”

“We had an amazing week at this cabin! The location right on Moosehead Lake was incredible. The kids fished off the jetty daily while we watched from the comfort of the cabin deck. We had great access for paddle boarding and swimming. Loved coming back after a day of activities to cook on the grill, have a fire and watch the amazing sunsets. Cabin was clean, nicely decorated, and fully stocked with everything! The owners were super responsive to any questions. We would definitely love to……
