“Perfect, cozy place right on the water for my husband, 15 year old son and myself. We just needed a short, relaxing getaway to do a little fishing, walking and recharging. The Boatyard for dinner and Dips on the Lake for dessert were perfect and walking distance. ”

“This place is as advertised. It had everything we needed. Kitchen appliances worked, Keurig (kcup/carafe) was a bonus, and the house stayed nice and cool. As a family of five, we had plenty of space. Outdoor space was nice. We enjoyed eating outside and the using the fire pit. Weldon's Ice Cream Factory is walking distance. Great ice cream and friendly staff. If we’re ever back in the area, we would definitely stay here again.”

“We had a great time at Buckeye Lake. Close to the north boat ramp and The Boat Yard. It was nice being able to sit by the water and watch fireworks, or walk down to grab a drink or a meal and some entertainment. House is a double with one of the owners on the other half. Some small maintenance items were needed. A running toilet, drawers that tried to fall out, sticking doors. But VERY minor. The location makes up for it. Family room doesn’t have a couch. It has a love seat , and two sitting……

“Great accommodations. Make sure you can handle stairs going in-out, but apartment is clean, well-organized, in nice location, and had everything we needed. Would stay again when in the area.”

“We wanted to take the kids away but not to far. They LOVED the pool - very secluded. And the POND. My son had a blast on the canoe and all three of my kids loved fishing! The little bluegill were so fun and easy to catch. They won’t quit taking about how fun it is to fish. A core memory for sure. The home was clean and well kept. The owner and property manager were super responsive and helpful! Over all a wonderful experience! ”

“Our family had a wonderful time staying at Valley View Villa. The house was spacious and well appointed. Beds were very comfortable! We had a great time swimming in the large indoor pool and enjoying the theater area. We 4 kids ages 13 yrs to 1 yr as well as 7 adults and 3 larger dogs - and there was space and activities for everyone. Our host, Rachel, was also very responsive. We had an amazing time making a lot of fantastic memories together. ”
