The location is great right on the cape fear River looking right at the USA North Carolina battleship on one side and the historic Wilmington skyline on the other. Parking garage is a bit of a walk like a couple blocks but is free considering parking in the downtown is 8.00/hr this is well worth it. “Parking was further than anticipated, the room key pad was confusing and locked us out immediately and we had to use the key on the table, luckily security was able to unlock our door for us so we could get ready and make it to our event on time. There was some damage to the bathroom cabinet towards the bottom when we arrived and stains on the bedroom carpet, clean other than that. Beautiful views, felt very secure, and in walking distance from everything we needed. ”

“We loved our stay here! It was the perfect size for our small family. We spent a lot of time out on the deck, and in the cozy living room. Beach access was easy and it wasn’t too crowded. We hope to book again next summer!”

“Great no complaints ”

“I stayed here for a quiet winter getaway with my dog. The view from the condo is stunning - sunrise and sunset are gorgeous. The condo is cozy, quiet and private and looks exactly like the photos. I made some meals in-unit by choice but even in winter, there are good restaurant options within a mile, including the pier nearby. As others have noted, the immediate beach entry is closed due to beach erosion but the open entrance was only .1 mile down the road - an easy walk. Barbara, the property……

“Exceeded our expectations: squeaky clean, light and airy, thoughtfully decorated, and phenomenal location as the beach is footsteps away and the view from the east balcony is spectacular, the west view balcony offers pretty sunsets over the harbor inlet. Everything we needed was there - definitely one of the best stocked VRBO’s - we were thankful the hosts provided beach chairs, towels, and an umbrella (and other beach toys).
