“This is a wonderful property and unusual for a hotel with a spa. It is located in the market town of Helmsley which offers a great selection of places to wander to. The hotel has a range of rooms - this time we stayed in a spa suite and couldn’t fault it. A large entrance into a separate living area, a huge bedroom and bathroom with fabulous bath tub and separate shower. Breakfast was delicious with a range of options. The spa is included in the price too, which is another reason to visit this……

“From the moment I drove in, the hotel made a great impression. The driveway is elegant, complete with a live water fountain that gives a touch of class. “Great hotel with fantastic food and staff. Rooms was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Time between ordering food and it being served was a slight issue at breakfast (30 minutes seemed excessive for beans and poached eggs) but was just about worth the wait. Only one car charging station working wasn’t ideal either but will definitely be back. ”

“Lovely, period hotel. Very roomy, comfortable lounge. Good room, only complaint was the heat - a hot pipe ran through our room, it was sweltering, luckily there was a fan as windows would not open. Very clean room and comfortable bed. Nice cotton towels and crisps cotton bed linen.”
