“We had a wonderful stay at the Sugar Pine Lodge. House is nicely stocked and well appointed. Highly recommend for families traveling to the South Lake Tahoe Area. Neighborhood is quiet and nice. ”

“Great place for our short stay in South Lake Tahoe, huge outdoor area and just a short drive from hikes, food and a playground.Some thoughtful touches we appreciated:- having a pack & play, high chair, airbed, and even a gate that blocked the stairs (kid friendly)- temp stayed warm despite cold nights- lots of kitchen tools & supplies, utensils, etc for use- enough parking for our 3 cars, plus the charging stationSome considerations:- to get ventilation for any kind of cooking or baking, we had……

“This cabin is tucked away in the best spot, close enough to enjoy all Lake Tahoe has to offer with the feeling of a perfect mountain escape. “House was excellent for our family ski trip. Only major issue was check-in. Door codes were incorrect and it took us about 40 minutes to enter. Local contact was unavailable. We were able to contact owner thru vrbo who provided access. Also, there were only 12 towels for 12 people. But, the house met all our needs very well.”

“The house was spacious and had several amenities. The hot tub was great and the large, fenced in backyard was ideal for the dog. Only downsides were that the fridge was not working and a loaner fridge was installed and 2 of the fireplaces were not working. The heated floors were also nice. ”

The rooms were spacious but our group all felt the beds were a little too firm and would recommend a mattress pad if you like a softer sleep. The gas fireplace was cozy and put off great heat! The kitchen was well stocked and had plenty of equipment to cook with which we enjoyed!”
