“Avoid!! Hotel in great location and should have been nice BUT.... I don't normally write reviews but this place was a nightmare from the start. On my arrival at 10.30pm from the airport, reception showed me to a tiny dark room with no view rather than the double dulux with lake view I'd booked. They told me Expedia had not paid them enough, my booked room wasn't available and this is all I could have - what a scam! The place was empty and the excuse was an obvious lie. Refused to accept the room……

“My stay at Saffron started out well. The pick up from the airport was timely and the car was clean. The driver, Brian, was very respectful and professional. The check-in process was flawless. Promise, the daytime receptionist was so friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The meals were well prepared and they heeded to my requests of special meals due to my food allergies. Their medium fish was so big I couldn’t finish it by myself. They even accepted to keep half the fish for me for the next……

“Nothing on the website is similar to the actual hotel.Wrong picture,wrong name,I had to ask people who lived near the so called hotel to ask for the hotel but to no avail.Because no buddy knows any hotel with that name in that location.When I call the hotel nobody answered my calls or called me back.So I had to book another hotel after spending more than 3 hours waiting.I am disappointed that Expedia putting this kind of scam on the website.”
