“Definitely different. Beautiful African beadwork, artwork and spectacular wood furnishings. One could spend hours soaking it all up. Our arrival was disappointing. Taken in through a side door to our room with no orientation about the palace its surroundings local places to eat. Exterior beautiful gardens neglected. Viewing deck total overgrown. Old rusty ladder lying their. Lounge pool dirty and definitely not five stars although it could be. All out door seating areas too dirty to sit on. A……

“The lodge is well located in the Hillcrest area, close to the Main Road with it's shops and restaurants. Bev the hostess was very welcoming and seemed prepared to go out of her way to assist her guests. The breakfast in the morning was varied and good. The room, while on the small side, was adequately furnished with a comfortable bed. There were a number of small items which detracted from my stay. “The staff were ready to assist when there was a power outage. It eas good to be offered the option of two rooms as well as additional cups and plates etc. Customer service was great, but the wifi was available intermittantly. Good for a short stay.”
