“This was a excellent setup for our group of guys, who were on a dove hunting trip in the area. Has a great outdoor pavilion with a gas grill, stove top, large refrigerator, small ice machine, sink, stereo and two TVs. Perfect for grilling watching the games between our hunts. Each room has a individual entrance with a small kitchenet, sitting area and a bed. ”

“Donny was one of if not the best host/person I have met. He is truly a great person who cares about his property and guests. Rooms were well kept, hotel style kitchenette minus microwave (inside). Great location and one of few that allow you to park by the river. I didn’t mind the outdoor cooking pavilion with a minor issue pertaining to clean pots, pans, utensils available. “Nice property, scenic area, and Donny is a wonderful host that is very helpful. We would come back! It says pool and hot tub on the website...next time would you please clarify that you don't provide it in the winter or something. But it ended up not bothering us much. “This cabin was bright and fresh looking. One of the cleanest I have been in on my travels through the hill country. We opted for the bedding, towels and extras for additional fee, which was well worth it. I wish I had remembered to bring a couple of camping chairs to set on while watching a movie when it was to cold to hike. The kitchen had all we needed to cook. A short distance trail led to the waterside that looked awesome for swimming. The host was excellent. About 35 miles to Lost Maples……
