“My travel planning usually pays off, but Bungalow's in the Zihuataneo/Ixtapa area was a HUGE exception. As a Google Local Guide, I know to verify a hotel room or short-term rental in person before payment. What I found? A disgusting, moldy room, nothing like the online photos. “We had a wonderful time! With just 5 rooms it’s easy to feel you have ample space and peace. We often had the small pool to ourselves. Please note however, that the rooms do not have a safe for your valuables, so you will need to plan accordingly. While most restaurants accept credit cards, most of the activities we tried, required payment in cash/pesos. Ultimately, we had a great time and will return. ”
