“This house was the perfect location for our family to stay when we came back to town for a family funeral. The house was so cute and comfortable. We enjoyed the fire pit and nature around us as well. There were plenty of beds for everyone. I would highly recommend this property for a quiet getaway.”

“Booked and paid for my stay 3 months I'm advance. When we went to check in, the people at the check in hut acted like I never paid. When I tried to show them my receipt, they said it would be okay and they would contact Expedia. Told us it was because we booked too far in advance we were having these issues. FYI they didn't check with Expedia, they just decided to double charge me. When I called to complain about being charged a 2nd time. I was told not to book thru Expedia next time and that……

“Great place for a girls retreat. 8 of us ( all family) had a nice time. It was secluded but only 4 min from Lacon with a nice gift/thrift store, and restaurants, winery near by also. It’s on a wetland where you can go on a hike. Lots of wild life ( deer, geese, snake, ducks were seen) the house was stocked very well. Owner was easy to get ahold of. Great house great time! ”

“The location was beautiful, check-in process was simple, but the house needs some attention. I sent a list of things to the property manager who assured me those things would be addressed. Probably the most impactful to us was the lack of hot water all weekend, although i didnt mention anything until the last day because i didnt want to deal with someone in there repairing or replacing a water heater while we were staying there. Again, beautiful location and that deck is very nice. ”

“Second year staying here and. again, the property meets and exceeds our needs. Greg's place is a great home base to gather our various family's together from throughout the country for our traditional holiday visit home to Metamora. Being adjacent to the Golf Course I can imagine this would be a great spot for a golf retreat. We will be back next year!”

“My family of 5 adults & 3 children under age of 4 stayed 2 nights while hosting 18 additional local family members for our annual Christmas in July family gathering. The Farmhouse was equipped with everything needed including space inside and out! Chad is an excellent host! He was right on top of our needs and then some! He delivered a dozen Blueberry Donuts made right on site Red River Farms!! And Chad made time to photograph our group and introduce us to the retail side of Red River Farms……
