“Beautiful way to unplug and relax by the water!”

“This was the perfect place for us to stay. 6 of us rode up on motorcycles and wanted a centralized place to stay. This was perfect. There’s a convenience store at the front you just walk over if you need anything! The host is very friendly and quick to respond to any questions. Be sure to stop at the Knotty Pine up the road if you choose to stay here. They have great food!”

“We really enjoyed our stay here. The house is very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We enjoyed being close to the river and a little outside of town, but it was easy to get to Escanaba for groceries, etc.”

We seen a lot of water falls while up there as well. The host is fast to reply and very easy to communicate with. Good hunting cabin or base camp for sight seeing. Thanks again for a good trip! ”

“We really enjoyed our stay at DD Lodge. My family, ages ranging from 94 years to three years, and I booked this property for a family vacation and it was perfect! The Lodge is amazing, very spacious and beautiful! The property is very clean and very well maintained, with all the amenities we were looking for and more. We enjoyed our morning coffee and stargazing in the four-season room, grilling, and nighttime campfires roasting s’mores with the kids. The location of the lodge made it an easy……

“Very clean with up-to-date amenities; the kitchen had everything we needed, and then some. Excellent location just a few minutes from Gladstone. We particularly liked the kayaking on the Escanaba River. Google maps didn't give an accurate location, but the directions provided by the owner were spot on, making the home extremely easy to get to.”
