“Heron' Cove is a great location with plenty of room for our family group of eight adults and four children under 10. We were in VA for our Son's wedding in Mineral, VA. The layout was perfect for our needs. We are already talking about a return trip. Fully equip kitchen (w/two refrigerators) made meals a breeze. “We as 8 couples 75 years old who went to college together had a fabulous get together. There is not a thing the owners didn’t forget in this house. Every imaginable kitchen appliance and utensil, plenty of glassware and dishes as well as a beautiful areas to relax and enjoy. The location is private and secluded with a beautiful view of the lake but near NOVA and Richmond. We enjoyed plenty of space to spread out whether on the dock or one of the beautiful decks or living rooms. Grocery and a……

“This was an incredible house for our family reunion with 18 people- 13 adults and 5 kids! With the bedrooms in 2 wings on either side of the house and the living/play areas in the center, it made it super for napping kids to still have quiet while the rest of the family played. The hosts were incredibly responsive to any needs we may have had throughout the visit. The beachfront at the lake was wonderful and all of the toys, kayaks, paddleboards made our stay so fun! We brought our own boat……

“My favorite activity was early morning on the porch. We saw hosts of osprey, 2 eagles, kingfishers, redheaded woodpeckers and even a loon.”

“This place had everything included that you would usually have to pay extra for or don't have the option to have it at all. Private beach, dock, volleyball court, canoe, paddle board, life jackets, and hot tub for the extra price of 0 dollars. They were all included. Consider that because it was super convenient. The house is also a mile away from a Marina so you can drop in and out boats and skis very easily. Also have gas on site.”

“Our family of 10 had a wonderful time! The house is very roomy, but also cozy plenty of room for family games, but also places inside and on patio for small group conversations or quiet reading. The house was clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped; there are several wine fridges and 3 regular sized refrigerators. The check in process was straight forward and Matt was very responsive when we had a few questions. This house really met our needs on every level. ”
