“My room was clean and spacious. The kitchen was clean, there was tea, coffee, sugar and milk all provided. It's outside of Hillsborough so you will need transport to get around but there is plenty of car parking spaces and even space to charge an electric vechicle. Good communication and easy to undestand the locking system”

“Myself and my partner only stayed for one night. The cabin was very clean and cosy with everything we needed for our short break. The bed was very comfortable and the shower was excellent, things that not all places we have stayed get right. We used it as a stop off on our trip to photograph the mountains and surrounding areas, this was the perfect stop off for what we wanted. Thank you for the stay, it made our break, we will definitely be booking again.”

“A truly wonderful find! Quiet, convenient, clean well appointed cottage, with attentive, friendly hosts. “Great find. We only stayed 1 night. When and if we’re the area again I will definitely stay again. Only recommendation I would make as we arrived when getting dark, a bit more signage on the roadside to make it easier to locate. Other than that we’ve no complaints. “Main standout quality of this hotel is it’s location. Beautiful views of The Mournes and very well maintained gardens. Also ample car parking space. If you want a quiet place to escape then this is it. Very attentive staff and excellent food. We did get the impression that one of the male staff was overworked- it seemed that he was absolutely doing everything, but must stress that he was an excellent ‘people person’ and that nothing was a bother to him. “We only booked one night as we didn’t know how long we needed to stay due to a family situation. The hotel kept our room open whether we used it or not and only charge for the days we are here at discounted rates. All staff are incredibly helpful and friendly and hugely empathetic. ”
