“Lovely hotel with great service. Really enjoyed the hospitality and attention to detail from the staff. Rooms are spacious and super comfy. Restaurant is fantastic and the location couldn’t be better. Can walk from the ferry so is super convenient. My only constructive comments would be: 1. Replace the ac units in the room as they are really loud and can’t hear the tv at a normal volume; and 2. Please remove use of plastics, for example, the room has plastic cups wrapped in plastic. “We have stayed at Hotel Petaluma before. We enjoy the proximity to downtown. The people working there are amazing. The rooms are only ok. This time the bathroom while quite large, was showing lots of wear. Rust in the sink and shower. It’s also odd that there are no pictures on the walls. The room was very bland. ”

“First, we brought three large pieces luggage for this long trip. The hotel offered us a room on the sixth floor without helping us carry our luggage or even telling us how to go to the sixth floor. The highest floor the elevator could reach was the fourth floor, so we had to carry our luggage a long way up to the sixth floor using the stairs, and the next day, down to the first floor as well. Second, I’m a VIP member of Hotels.com, and the website clearly stated that this hotel would provide VIP……

“Let me preface by saying if you are looking for a shiny modern hotel, this is not the place for you. What it is, is a charming old school motor hotel where you can park right at your room. Employees were very frienfly, the check in area was nice, easy access from the freeway, comfortable beds, and the highlight for me was the massive park-like tropical grounds with massive old growth trees, adirondack chairs, hammocks, and a good size pool and hot tub. All rooms are ground floor, and the setting……
