“We had a great vacation on Jaybird Pond, swimming, kayaking, hiking and making family memories. Renters should know that the property does not have running water or electricity. The property managers help you figure out how to boil the pond water and use the propane lamps. If you’re willing to rough it, you can’t beat the experience of having your own pond. ”

“ This cabin is in such a great location! Steps away from the water with kayaks, floats and paddle boards provided. We even saw a bald eagle soar across the ski while floating in front of the dock! The host Braden was extremely accommodating to us and promptly answered all the questions I had. ”

“Cozy and scenic”

“Cute cabin, Not maintained. We arrived late evening to the cabin with all sheets / towels all dirty on the floor. After multiple calls, property manager texted that the cleaner did not show. A new cleaner would come the next day but there are clean sheets in the garage. The tables were sticky, the carpet dusty as if it has never been vacuumed. The lovely cleaning person arrived after lunch and took the dirty pile of sheets and made our beds, which was nice of her. After a day of swimming the……

“Me and my husband absolutely loved this cottage and the setting. Frye Island is such a cute place and we really enjoyed our stay and can't wait to come back. It was a 15 minute walk to the ferry and store where we got picked up for a fishing charter. The beaches on the south and west side of the island were absolutely beautiful and I wish we could have spent more time there. 1.5 baths and plenty of space, very private setting at the cottage really help us enjoy our stay.”

“Overall, the property was very nice and cozy. I only put 4 stars because a few things can be updated for a better experience. Needing a deep clean around the cabin would be beneficial, also mentioning the host being on the property/ inside the cabin while we occupied it to tend to the fire stove would have been great to know. The separation of the other 2 rooms should be clarified that they are not in the cabin. It’s the bottom of the cabin with no entrance from inside the main cabin so it feels……

“I had a wonderful time and the hosts were so kind. But it was difficult to get into your website to speak with the host once an email was sent to me. I was able to get a number to call customer service and got the host phone number and address to destination but GPS sent me to the wrong address but someone helped me to find it. And and email was not sent until the day I was going wishniy was sooner”

“Loved the location by the Pond, there was a hiking trail across the street, we walked our dogs on. Convenient location to several beach areas. We enjoyed our stay and will return”

“We absolutely loved our stay at the cabin! The house was incredibly cozy and had a great layout, making it perfect for our group. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the cooking utensils we needed, including plenty of plates, cups, and pots for our group of 10. We enjoyed cooking big meals like pho and spaghetti during our stay. The rooms were clean, and the beds were very comfortable. After long days of snowboarding, the hot tub was a dream come true.
